Opportunities for Inspector/Detective Inspector

Starting salary: National Inspector pay scale plus £2,500 South East allowance (or other housing rent allowance).

Essex Police is continuing to grow. We are recruiting for suitably qualified Sergeants/Detective Sergeants who are eligible for promotion and Inspectors/Detective Inspectors to wish to join us on a level transfer.

Promotion assessments are currently scheduled between 11th May-27th May 2022*

During our assessment process you will be required to demonstrate evidence at Level 2 of the national Competency and Values Framework.

You will also be able to hear from our Inspectors about what it is like to work with us. Please note this briefing will be hosted via MS Teams.
