South Asian Heritage Month 2023 is all about celebrating the stories that make up our diverse and vibrant community

Those who join policing from South Asian heritage bring richness, diversity, different languages, food, culture and music.

This year’s theme is around ‘stories to tell’ which is a chance to showcase what has shaped the lives and future of officers and staff working in policing and our communities.

Over the next month, we’ll be sharing stories from our members, each who add so much to policing. To raise awareness of the benefits those from South Asian heritage bring to policing and how they educate and upskill the wider workforce.
